VIP Service Agreement / Auto-Renewal Service Agreement

This VIP Service Agreement / Auto-Renewal Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between you and Nanjing Hongliu Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. regarding your purchase and use of FoliagePal VIP services and auto-renewal services. This Agreement forms part of the Terms of Service.

By purchasing or using VIP services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement.

1. VIP Services

VIP services are paid membership services provided by FoliagePal. VIP benefits may include:

  • Ad-free use
  • Unlimited plant identification
  • Unlimited AI conversations
  • Unlimited pest and disease diagnosis
  • Advanced care plans
  • Cloud sync
  • History
  • Other membership benefits displayed on the purchase page

Specific benefits are subject to the purchase page, in-app descriptions, and actual activation status. We may adjust VIP benefits based on product planning, technical capabilities, laws and regulations, or operational needs. For material adjustments, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.

2. Ad-Free Benefit

VIP users do not see in-app ads or task ad pages.

The following are not covered by the ad-free benefit: service notifications, system messages, subscription status reminders, community content, activity rules, account security notices, content displayed on payment or platform pages by third parties, and information required by laws, regulations, or platform rules.

3. Subscription Types

FoliagePal offers monthly, quarterly, and annual auto-renewing subscriptions. Specific prices, billing periods, discounts, free trials, and expiration times are shown on the purchase page and by Apple App Store, Google Play, WeChat Pay, Alipay, or other payment channels.

4. Auto-Renewal

After you enable an auto-renewing subscription, it will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the deadline required by the applicable platform.

Apple App Store, Google Play, WeChat Pay, Alipay, and other channels may have different rules for billing time, cancellation deadlines, refunds, and subscription management. Please refer to the rules of the applicable channel.

Deleting the app, logging out, stopping use of FoliagePal, or deleting your account usually does not automatically cancel auto-renewal. You must cancel auto-renewal through the channel where you purchased the subscription.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription through the purchase channel:

  • Apple App Store: cancel through the "Subscriptions" page of your Apple ID
  • Google Play: cancel through "Payments & subscriptions" in Google Play
  • WeChat Pay: cancel through the relevant auto-renewal management entry in WeChat Pay
  • Alipay: cancel through Alipay's password-free payment/auto-debit management entry

After cancellation, you can usually continue using VIP benefits until the end of the paid billing period. After the current billing period ends, your account will revert to free user mode and VIP privileges will no longer be available.

6. Expiration and Downgrade

After VIP expires, auto-renewal is canceled, payment fails, a refund succeeds, or the subscription status becomes abnormal, your account may revert to free user mode. After reverting to free user mode, you will no longer be able to use VIP-exclusive benefits, including unlimited identification, unlimited AI conversations, unlimited pest and disease diagnosis, advanced care plans, cloud sync, history, and ad-free benefits.

Some historical data may remain in your account, but access, sync, or continued use may be limited by free user entitlements.

7. Payment and Refunds

iOS subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store are processed by Apple, including payment, renewal, cancellation, and refunds.

Overseas Android subscriptions purchased through Google Play are processed by Google Play, including payment, renewal, cancellation, and refunds.

Subscriptions purchased through WeChat Pay, Alipay, or Apple In-App Purchase in Mainland China are processed according to the applicable channel rules.

We do not directly control refund decisions made by Apple, Google, WeChat Pay, or Alipay. Refund requests, refund eligibility, and refund timing are subject to the policies of the applicable payment channel or app store.

8. Free Trials and Promotions

If FoliagePal offers free trials, discounts, promotions, or gifted benefits, the specific rules are subject to the campaign page or purchase page.

After a free trial ends, if you do not cancel before the required deadline, it may automatically convert to a paid subscription and you may be charged. The number of free trials or promotions available to each account, device, payment method, or platform account may be limited.

9. Price Changes

We may adjust VIP prices based on operating costs, service content, market conditions, or platform policies. For price changes to auto-renewing subscriptions, we will notify you in accordance with applicable laws and platform rules, and obtain your confirmation where required. If you do not agree to the change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.

10. Use Restrictions

VIP benefits are for your own account only. You may not transfer, rent, sell, share, crack, bypass, abuse, or use VIP benefits in abnormal ways. If we detect abnormal calls, bulk registration, scripted access, account sharing, fraudulent payment, circumvention of restrictions, or other abuse, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate VIP benefits and reserve the right to pursue liability in accordance with law.

11. Account Deletion and Subscription

Account deletion enters a 30-day grace period under the Privacy Policy and eventually deletes or anonymizes account data. However, deleting your account usually does not automatically cancel platform subscriptions. Please cancel auto-renewal through the applicable purchase channel before deleting your account to avoid continued charges.

12. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you through in-app notices, website announcements, or other appropriate methods. If you continue to use VIP services after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Agreement.
