Overview
A two-minute action for everyday Peace Lily care
Build an immediately actionable, observable light habit for Peace Lily.
Prioritize new growth
Bright indirect light favors flowering; in dimmer rooms foliage may persist with fewer blooms, while harsh sun burns leaves.
Change one variable at a time
After choosing a better position, observe for two to three weeks. New leaf size, color, and form carry more useful information than damage already present on older leaves.
Record and recheck
Peace lily is known for dark leaves and white spathes and adapts to medium indoor light better than many flowering plants. After this action, note the date, media condition, new growth, and position. Review after one or two weeks; if decline continues, soft rot or odor appears, or pests spread, isolate and investigate instead of substituting extra watering or repeated feeding for diagnosis.
