Overview
A two-minute action for everyday Peace Lily care
Build an immediately actionable, observable feeding habit for Peace Lily.
Feed only when it is growing
When successive new leaves or shoots are active, begin at a gentle label rate. Pause feeding when growth has stopped, after repotting, when media is bone dry, or when the plant is distressed.
Watch accumulated salts
Abnormal tips, crust on the pot rim, or compacted media call for a moisture and substrate check; where appropriate, flush clean water through the pot rather than adding more nutrients.
Record and recheck
Peace lily is known for dark leaves and white spathes and adapts to medium indoor light better than many flowering plants. After this action, note the date, media condition, new growth, and position. Review after one or two weeks; if decline continues, soft rot or odor appears, or pests spread, isolate and investigate instead of substituting extra watering or repeated feeding for diagnosis.
